Oklahoma Run 'n Gun Summer '20

This past weekend I got to attend the Oklahoma Run 'n Gun and take photos during the event. Not only does this event challenge your marksmanship with a pistol and rifle, but it's also a test of endurance and physical strength, and if you weren't already aware, it's not exactly pleasant outside during July in Oklahoma. They offer a 5k, 10k, and for those extra enthusiastic participants, a 15k challenge. You run (or walk) to each stage where there are different types of targets to shoot. Scores are calculated based on your time to clear each stage and your total run time. Even though it was around 100 degrees, it was still a lot of fun to attend this year. Tickets almost always sell out, so get yours quickly if you want to participate. They also do a winter event each year.

I ended up covering over 10 miles on Saturday while taking pictures. In hindsight, a dirt bike or ATV would've been a great way to cover more ground and not be so exhausted. Maybe next time.
